Yesterday I finished reading To Say Nothing of the Dog (1997) by Connie Willis; a first person adventure in Victorian England. A little bit of a slow start but otherwise a great read.
Entertaining characters, pets, and locations; highly recommend reading.

Just finished reading Doomsday Book (1992) by Connie Willis; a fantastic novel without a page spared. A near-future time travel adventure, mostly, set in the 1300s that I highly recommend.
