Social media ≡ Burn Out

This is exactly why I feel so many Artists get burned out so quickly and so many younger Artists are having such a hard start getting into art or even sticking with it.

The need to constantly "perform" isn't conductive to a healthy mind/body let alone just a natural upkeep.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Kinda wanna do a comic about living with a dissociative disorder as it can be really weird, but I think figuring out the visual depictions of it would be a fun challenge
