fair. the life of digital stuff is just so short man. Think of all the retro indie games that would be lost if it werent for physical media.
I still love playing the original monster hunters, or gameboy games like medabots. Things i can only legally emulate because i own the disc and cartridge.

the limited amount of text on these platforms really lacks the ability for proper nuances in posts. its not all doom and gloom. Im just sad to see this particular direction of us not owning the things we purchase because theyre digital and services get discontinued eventually.

Yeah but how long till all of them are? Plus were talking bout a console with 256gb storage. I know theres ways to expand it but this is the industry standard that was set 10 years ago. Theyre basically saying: buy our console plus game for 500 bucks, and instantly buy more space cuz its full.

I weep for future retro games out there. Ill be not be buying the switch 2 if its on those terms. Breaking my long love cycle between having most consoles since the OG gameboy.

I love my old @Nintendo hardware. I still play windwaker on my gamecube, mario64 on my n64. But sorry nintendo; Physical game keys for 80 bucks? Just so i can no longer play my games after u shut down the service for that particular console and i have to buy remake number 3?!

On by default, no way to disable them, no moderation tools.
