What kind of idiots enshrined into the rules of the #FASB the notion that things (machines, buildings, money) were worthy investments, but people were not? A pox on all their houses!

I have spent the past 2+
years studying what I call #BBOL- bad behavior online - under an NSF grant. Reading some of the posts here (e.g., bsky.app/profile/muel...), I’m thinking it might be helpful to share some of what I have learned, here. Thing 1: #CAPTCHA is not the best for weeding out bots.

There has to be a valid, reliable “are you human?” procedure. I do research on bad behavior online #BBOL, & it has shown that anonymous is OK but no human check is *bad*. BTW, CAPTCHA is v. popular but not effective. Twitter had something like 50-60% bot traffic, conservatively speaking.

The #Constitution was supposed to protect us from the Evil Clown the #insurrectionists. Why are those who swore their allegiance to defend it, simply looking away as it is dismantled? Why are we paying the price for their passivity?

I’m still trying to get my head around this “logic” people are using that says “We know the man being sworn into office will not honor the U.S. Constitution and plans to violate every right U.S. citizens currently have, but we’re going to follow the Constitution, and welcome him into office.”

Come to think of it - since the USA was never really a democracy to begin with, I am editing my suggestion. The phrase should be “Make America a Democracy,” period. = MAD. I think that’s better.

Those who hold the reins of power could have, at any point, prevented this impending fiasco. They still can. It’s not too late. Make America a Democracy Again (MADA)!
