Well now I want to come to your house and watch! But, yeah, it was sold ticket by ticket here too. I'm glad I checked today because a lot of the middle seats were sold out, but there was one row still I was able to grab each day.

I didn't when they released the 4K versions and I wish I'd had! The fact they are on three different days will help the stretching. But, when the last Hobbit movie came out I watched all of those back to back in a triple screening and it was actually kind of amazing watching them that way.

Should I go ahead and purchase tickets for the full Lord of the Rings Extended Editions on the big screen for the 25th Anniversary? Should I precious?

Scott and Kip’s side adventure

All I needed to enjoy Heated Rivalry were two characters who could string sentences together, I guess! I’m sorry this is just a one-off bubble episode. But seeing characters with friends, family, and lives beyond measuring hockey sticks was nice! Structure as TV show feels weird as hell though.

I’m under read on Le Guin but love all I have read. Reading this book is actually part of me finally reading more of her work.

Yeah, I'd heard these two were the first book, right? I'm glad they got the story in, but I did think if I were watching this without having heard about this episode being a kind of side quest beforehand... would it have been very weird/confusing? lol.

I just don’t like the emotionally stunted main characters nearly as much, but since we’re getting THAT story over a season maybe it’ll develop more and I’ll like them as much as they made me like Scott and Kip in a single episode.
