I have finished Wuthering Heights. I have recorded the video. It is 20 minutes of footage and needs to be 3 minutes. Of course, some of that is just long pauses as I drink water or maneuver books. :D

The cover of At Home in Central Illinois features a nice couple sitting at a raised bar that that is white. Against a white wall. ANd it's from the side, so it's not very attractive. And there's a dusty vent featured prominently because there's so much negative space.

Apologies to the nice couple on the cover. The interior pics in this magazine do look nice. But this cover (former full time graphic designer here) just... why this cover photo? Did the editor/designer think this showed off the new home? It barely looks like the moved in! They were done dirty. 😅

Yeah I guess they got to that more in Caprica, though I don’t think I watched all of that.

It could’ve all been so different. That’s what still gets me. All the lives lost. All the lives ruined. All the destruction and fear. Nothing ever makes that go away, entirely. But we had, collectively, the power to not add to the chaos. And we failed. Not only ourselves, but the world.

Especially if it’s buttercream that’s too buttery. It’s like expecting pudding and getting a mouthful of lard! 🥲

Voyager approaches the Caretaker array

Downloaded the full game of Star Trek: Voyager Across the Unknown after trying out the demo. It’s already a treat for the Voyager fan, as you basically play through the episodes.

Agreed. You may be wrong about Twizzlers, but you’re right about custard! I don’t even want to hear about cream filled donuts. Custard all the way!

I have made peace with the typo in my post. It is not tormenting me with each repost and comment. I am not haunted by it. I can rise above the shame.

The magician’s assistant has a little spine part that slots into the bottom to put her back together. Not that I’ll ever display her that way. 🤣 But still fun.

Watched Part 2 Tonight. It's not as tight as part 1. It feels like it meanders a bit to me. But, largely still brilliant. I'm really impressed with how well the effects hold up. Did they remaster them for the Blu Ray? This is my first time seeing these on Blu Ray. It's always been DVD before.
