New GPU for @xpress.ai it was quite a tight fit. Had to disassemble and reassemble the brackets once it was in the case.

I think I started listening to it when you mentioned it back in the day. There was something really productive about listening to that album on repeat… but not so anymore.

For example. My personal assistant Xaibo is connected to my calendar, and email, but is only able to post to slack, not receive messages. So I know that someone can’t impersonate me and get information they shouldn’t. This is important IT security 101 stuff.

People are starting to notice some of the things I didn’t like about MCP. I was at the first hackathon when Anthropic announced it but I didn’t see much of a reason to use it. In @xpress.ai tools are also guard rails. I know what it can do and that works better for me.

And in Xpress AI I have all that hardcoded into the system prompt so it always works the way I want it to.

And then tell it to write down a memo to itself to avoid making the same mistake in the future as .cline-memory. Then switch it to act mode. And add in the prompt to check that file whenever I give it a new task.

Oh but also you might need to give it a good talking to first. One trick I used is to tell it to do something switch to plan mode show the error and give it a good talk that it needs to do better, be more detail oriented. That this isn’t a tutorial and I’m not here to babysit it.

Maybe I should make a video of doing that.

Succeeded in "Vibe Spreadsheeting" my Japanese taxes. Specifically my "医療費控除" (Medical Expense Deductions.) Just kept instructing the Xpress AI Agent called Harmony what files to read, and watch it fill in the 医療費集計フォーム.

And then it told me the available name. It definitely hits different.

I ask it for some ideas of names for a new project. It 1) looked at it’s memory for past discussions of the app. 2) used the think tool (qwq-32b) to get more ideas 3) did a google search for each of the names 4) made a python function to call name sersvers and query to see if the names are available

Wow. Gemma-3-27b is the best agent model I've ever seen. Proactively checking its memory, then my todo list, then telling me to get back to work. Amazing.

Let’s implement Claude 3.7 on @xpressai and see how it does.
