How do you deal with the leader of the worlds sole hyperpower basically saying random, contradictory things about a literal war he's started?

Yes everything is terrible but let’s not lose sight of the fact that someone has written the Headline to End All Headlines.

It seems an awfully long time since I saw an experimental wave power piece on Tomorrow’s World!

It does feel that with the amazing rise of solar, countries at our sort of latitude are going to be at a considerable industrial disadvantage in future?

Unfortunately, it was kept in the back of a vape shop next to Glasgow Central Station

Yesterday I had no internet for a few hours and ate an apple. It felt like an extremely minor insight into what it's like to live as a horse.

350 pledges. 150 to go.

If we reach it, we launch πŸš€

Interesting that it didn’t mention Arthur C Clarke’s publication of such ideas the previous year.

A thread
This is what I would do to mitigate the energy price shock resulting from US/Israel's war on Iran.
1. Emergency measures to bring renewables / storage online slightly sooner than planned.

I’ve pledged:

And still the status quo in the UK is that criticism of Israel is largely taboo for anyone aspiring to policy influence.

Iran’s people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.

What a marvellous achievement, and on top of no doubt a lot of institutional sexism to contend with too.

I do actually think it's a bad thing to cause a bunch of death and destruction for no clear reason and in the process bring about a global economic shock. I realise the Israeli and American governments feel differently, but this is my opinion.

It’s funny, I assumed everyone knew that…. but given that not everyone used to be a 12 year old boy really into this sort of thing… I suppose they might be confused!

Maybe they should have gone to the 50’s popular wording for this tech and called them atomic!

Although… same problem I suppose

They are easier to read with older eyes in artificial light!

A pet hate of mine is that I read quite a bit of non fiction and if it’s paperback it’s often too small print when I know the hardback would have been fine.

I never buy hardback fiction though - too big, heavy and expensive.

I never know how long a book is in terms of words.
Presumably the kindlers know this?

It’s the sort of thing that should be compulsory to print on the back cover!
