Pierce Browns’s Dark Age. Ch: Obsidian Rising. Atheist narrator gets high on some hallucinogen and has zealous religious moment, jumping out of an airship with a battalion of 8 foot tall fanatical Norse space marines. The arc from non-believer to true believer is exhilarating and very funny.
