Used The Fang as rhe basenfor the staff shaft, etc and then began adding the gold and genestealer purple to the iconography
The gem atm is just a Caledor Blue base & Baharroth Blue highlights so far

One thing I knew I wanted to do from the start of painting Beowulf for @fenrisgames.com is have water on the base. The poem takes place in a lot of wet places, so it seems fitting. It does mean I have to anxiously wait a day or two for it to dry now to see if it looks good. 😬
