My guess is that it will be a pricey service, aimed at archivists or those serious about their scans. Kodachrome has a reputation for scanning with a blue tint, so this service will be of use to those with lots of old slides.

New Multispectral Film Scanner Is a Breakthrough for Analog Photography One of few major photographic film scanning innovations of the 21st century.

Another Kodachrome article out today, about Film Rescue International, the lab in Alberta, Canada that processes old film, including Kodachrome (the latter in B&W). They built a hi-res scanner that they hope archivists will clamor for.

Ah, Kodachrome. Much lamented, Ibraar Hussain reviews what little of Kodachrome 25 (ISO 25) film he had back in the day. K64 (ISO 64) was much more popular at the time, but K25 offered much more detail, at the least. #believeinfilm #analogphotography

Kentmere Pan 200 and a Contax 137 MA Quartz/ZEISS 50mm f/1.7 I had no nits to pick with Kentmere’s 100 and 400 films, but to my eyes, this 200 variant is better. Very nice tones. Relatively low grain
