My guess is that it will be a pricey service, aimed at archivists or those serious about their scans. Kodachrome has a reputation for scanning with a blue tint, so this service will be of use to those with lots of old slides.
26.07.2025 01:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0KosmoFoto is doing pre-orders for the Mono 100/36 B&W film, due for delivery in September. If you like this film, now is the time to pre-order it at a 50p discount a roll. There will be a run of 500 rolls, and that is it for 2025. #believeinfilm #analogphotography

Another Kodachrome article out today, about Film Rescue International, the lab in Alberta, Canada that processes old film, including Kodachrome (the latter in B&W). They built a hi-res scanner that they hope archivists will clamor for.

Ah, Kodachrome. Much lamented, Ibraar Hussain reviews what little of Kodachrome 25 (ISO 25) film he had back in the day. K64 (ISO 64) was much more popular at the time, but K25 offered much more detail, at the least. #believeinfilm #analogphotography

Jaron Schneider gives a review of Harman Phoenix II on PetaPixel. Crunchy pastels, he says. The colours look natural to me, maybe not neon bright or saturated. Though not suitable for a half-frame camera due to grain? #believeinfilm #analogphotography

Hey #believeInFilm friends,
I checked 31 film prices across 8 stores in 3 currencies and compared that against data for the past 7 years.
Looks like film prices are up by 9% since the beginning of this year:

Dmitri gives the details on the new Harman Phoenix II film released today. Most retailers seem to have this film available. The 35mm variant ranging from $14 to $20 pre-tax. In the UK, around β€13 - which probably includes VAT. #believeinfilm #analogphotography

Hey #believeinfilm friends
Last year, Polaroid updated its B&W 600 chemistry.
Last month, I spent several packs of the new and the old frames, to determine what changed and whether this new film can be shot in UNMODIFIED SX-70 cameras:

Well. Half-frame is popular. So, here is another one, this time from Eric Woods. He did a review of Kentmere 200, but in this article talks about his Rollei 35 LED half-frame camera. #believeinfilm #analogphotography
