There is still Lead, mostly in urban locations, that is impacting youth and maybe others as there is evidence that there is a genetic component to Lead uptake and processing. I also expect higher mortality rates and down stream epigentic effects in offspring of high Lead exposure parents.

I would argue the last gasp of largely Leaded Gasoline violence was the Rodney King riots in 1992 as all things got better from that point forward. Lead is still causing problems and the higher rates of deaths of GenX occurring now have links to this high exposure as kids.
