34th birthday just passed, sitting with a lot of unknowns, which feels harder than trying to figure it all out as quickly as possible (which doesn’t usually work).

My graduating thesis is due today, and I am feeling all kinds of ways about it.

Just sent out my first 50k words. Had to do a major rewrite the last two weeks and got down around 12000 words. Making progress, and also slowly figuring out that I’m more of a discovery writer than I thought….

Besides being annoying and grammatically incorrect, I wonder who programs these spell checks? I imagine it is easy to fix…

I’m doing some revision today and ran a quick spell check in #ulysses on a character who uses “they/them” pronouns and it’s constantly recommending I change it to “her.” It also gets confused about “their” being singular, making recommendations to make words plurals following the pronouns….

Short-Form Video is the death of me. If Bluesky ever adopts it as a "reels" or "shorts" I'll have to leave... My primate brain can't handle it, too addicting, especially when the struggs hit.
