Updated PlanetScope imagery from @planet.com shows the berm shown below continues to expand. February 16 imagery shows an additional 500m of berm construction since last week.
Additional berm construction and clearing activity along the Yellow Line visible north of Rafah and south of Gaza city.
Looking at PlanetScope imagery from today, the Netzarim corridor berm I noted in the post below has already reached Wadi Gaza. The Wadi As-Salqa one has also continued to grow and extends 300m further north.

A PlanetScope satellite image from Planet Labs showing south central Gaza on January 12, 2026. Two roads are labeled β Salah al-Deen Road going north and south and Kisufim Road, which runs from Salah al-Deen to the Gaza-Israel border. The Yellow Line is also indicated running north and south through the image. There is a large amount of destruction visible in the image, especially in the two visible towns β Wadi al-Salqa and Al-Qarara. An IDF outpost is visible as is a paved aid staging area.

The Yellow Line is also indicated running north and south through the image. There is a large amount of destruction visible in the image, especially in the two visible towns β Wadi al-Salqa and Al-Qarara. An IDF outpost is visible as is a paved aid staging area. A long dirt berm is now visible, bisecting Kisufim Road and running toward the north. It's 2.6km long and follows closely with the Yellow Line.
Recent PlanetScope imagery from @planet.com shows a new 2.6km-long berm that's been built by the IDF in south central Gaza near Kisufim Road. The berm roughly follows the "Yellow Line" that divides IDF-occupied areas and the rest of Gaza. Similar berms are visible elsewhere in the north and south.

NEW Utilising Second World War aerial photography, researchers have identified a monumental Persian garden complex on the outskirts of Tabriz, Iran.
One of the largest examples identified, it is also unique in comparison to its contemporaries.

Our monitoring work over #Gaza has shown that destruction of the historic environment by the IDF has continued despite the ceasefire, most notably in the widespread demolition of parts of Gaza City's E suburbs (including W of the Yellow Line) in the first weeks of December 2025.

This vast complex had not been previously documented and was built over by urban sprawl in the 1990s.

Hey, do you all know that there are people in prison in the UK, arrested for connection to Palestine Action, who have been on hunger strike for 45 days. David Lammy refuses to even engage with MPs to discuss the issue.

Yes, that is a possibility, and there are debates on the earliest Yemeni mariner communities in South Shields, Cardiff etc... Although would it be quicker to take sail around the coast rather than travel inland (and cheaper if you could work on board)?

After conducting extensive earthworks on top of the archeological mound Tell Ali Muntar, it appears in more recent @planet.com SkySat imagery from October 7 that the IDF has since paved the top of the mound.
