Wetland Plant-Fungus Combo Cleans Up โForever Chemicalsโ
Discover how yellow flag irises and the fungi that grows on their roots could help to remove PFAS from wetlands and in wastewater treatment.
๐ฑA new study published in the ACS Environmental Science & Technology found that yellow flag iris, a wetland plant, can remove #PFAS from water. These plants could be used in constructed #wetlands to treat PFAS contaminated #wastewater.
