Came across this old photo of Rowan in a laundry basket; it’s still one of my favorites. She is just painfully adorable.

The fact that this is a solved problem almost makes it worse, honestly. And to me, points an even stronger finger at needing a more robust system (than the current WSFS) for continuity from one con to the next.

Had a great time at worldcon! So glad I got to go this year. Hung out with friends, went to some awesome panels, bought cool stuff, and went to an excellent reading by @interstellarflight.bsky.social. Who could ask for more?

Whenever I remember to post something it is usually my cats, an offering to balance how much I enjoy seeing everyone else’s! So many good dogs and cats here 😍

We’re in that time of year when the cats are no longer content to take turns in my lap but must double up and I love it (seriously, how cute are they).

Financial statement today reminded me HOW GREAT IT IS when folks request that their libraries acquire books. 😍

Seriously, if you want a totally free-to-you way to help an author, submit a request with your local library. Those sales help us so much, in whatever format.
