I am happy being out of my job officially now. So much sus shit happening on all ends, and I do hope a specific person gets it one day.

But yeah. I'm out of this current nightmare at least 🙂. I feel like I can move on with my life now, continue my hobbies again and talk/reach out to people again.

Feels weird saying bye to now old coworkers. I hated working there + living here, but I really liked working with them, even if we all went through the shit

Also feels weird starting a new chapter in my life when all I want is to settle. Maybe soon, but for now, new adventure for a year at least

Time to leave one hell and back to the other

In the stake of my depression on my final day of business travel, I have depleted a 100$ bottle of whiskey

I don't think I ever want to do a two week business trip in a place I hate ever again lol

People think I just draw cute sbit which is true, but lemme tell you, I have to also draw the horror and the /darkness/ unfortunately

- Scene change of current Rothica holding the toy lost in thought, on an airship(?) with her current party, saying she was thinking about an old friend

Definitely some in-betweens I left out, but I wanted to capture how Olivia was such a nice person, but also Peacy's demeanor/script flip

- Some moments passed, Olivia is barely alive and seemed to have crawled next to the girl at the tree
- She positions herself holding the girl's head close to her
- Olivia presses the signal transponder/toy, sending to Rothica, passes away
- Scene change of Rothica turning back to find the signal

- Peacy loses her arm, reveals that she is a machine
- Peacy severs Olivia's legs with her summoned sword Exitium
- Olivia tries crawling away
desperately
- Peacy grabs her by the neck, impales her from behind
- Peacy: Slumber entranced my princess and embark, may you never return to my kingdom >

- Peacy states that this the final piece to reclaim her power and her god-slaying sword
- Dialogue between Olivia and Peacy
- Peacy (demented): There is no running from this one...
- Fight scene, Olivia's giant lances get destroyed, uses "Waltz of the Lightning Princess" on Peacy

- Some dialogue between Olivia and girl
- Olivia heads to village near the deceased girl. Finds bodies of both large machines and people
- The machines looked like they were protecting the people instead?
- Peacy in the center with her bloodied greatsword, marveling a crystal held high in her hand >

- Queen Peacy gives a speech on how she values everyone's safety, and that if they run into any danger, organic or machine, that they run
- Fast-forward, constant beeping is heard as Olivia is running to the source. Girl she met is found bleeding out, supported by a tree that looks penetrated

Back to Olivia vs Peacy, it kinda goes:

- Rothica, Olivia, Queen Peatrice(?) (Peacy) and Team are completing tail end of site survey of potential machine threat
- Olivia meets a small girl, hands her a signal locator that looks like a toy (signal locator given to Olivia by Rothica originally)

Rather than writing an entire pre-story to Rothica's actual story. I think it makes more sense to imply that current people immediately recognize her as a "legend"/questionable(?) person, and that they know stuff/have heard things about her whether they are true or not.

Thinking about storyboardimg a bit and really need volunteers to read/review it

I've been thinking about Olivia vs Peacy scene in my head a bit while drinking after-hours on my business trip, and how I kinda wanted to make Rothica's past more of "here's /some/ info, make your own interpretation" >

Anyways, thank you for reading my madness, I still need to think about how to write depressed redhead woman who overcomes herself and saves the world, but also how to write the other characters and their influence on the world/other characters/depressed redhead woman

These are interchangable with showing as well. And I think what really makes a good fucking story is where these audience formulations of said events become murky where a reader/watcher/listener HAS to feel as if they live in the world you created to make an interpretation(s) >

I'd equate it to like I'm gonna tell you A, and I will show you support (or denial) of B, C, D, etc. The audience formulates a thought on the scene and this reinforces that hey, maybe A is true, or hell, maybe A is actually suspect or even very not true. Or maybe B is true, C is false, D is neither

mostly because you gotta tell to show and vice versa. Telling isn't purely verbal or even narrating, and guiding (not hand-holding?) your audience to reach an idea you're trying to convey, or even forming their own story with the pieces/inferences they are given is powerful when done well.

Related to learning manga paneling and 2d animation, this also requires me to learn storytelling/how to write and display a story, which is also something I really want to get into.

personal thought, but I think people say, "show, don't tell" for stories, but I mostly disagree with that statement >

In my desire to seek the mental equivalent of fast-travelimg about 90 days, I've decided I need to occupy my time fully to not think about it lol
