Spooky Season is nearly upon us! I had Regency dance class today so I put on one of my favorite early Regency dresses! Paired with candy-corn themed sash and shawl, and the matching flowers on my witch hat, I’m ready for Magick!

My Utena cosplay from Revolutionary Girl Utena worn on Saturday at Norwescon. This was my Masquerade contest entry. I was given two awards for this costume: “Best in Class Master Class,” and “Best Workmanship Master Class.” Not bad for my first time competing in Master’s category!
My Regency era Loki variant cosplay, worn on Sunday at Norwescon.
Back home from Norwescon! Lots of fun costuming adventures were had, and I won two awards in Master division in the Masquerade!

Pretty happy with these! Hair bits for Sailor Zoisite. I used a pair of button backs on the back, you can see them on the lower of the two hair decorations. For now I’ve threaded it with some gold, elasticated cord in order to apply it to the wig. These are very shiny and glittery! Ya know, magical!

Here’s where I want to end up when I’m finished with this costume.
I found a home-made Sailor Moon costume at an estate sale yesterday! It was only 20 bucks so I couldn’t pass it up. But, I think this needs a few changes. I had always said that if I was ever going to consider doing a Senshi cosplay, it would *have* to be Sailor Zoisite.

Victorian look today for Victorian Country Christmas at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. I’m helping out Kathy at Horse’n’Round Studio, demoing fiber arts. Swapping between spinning with a drop spindle, and thread crochet. I’ll be here tomorrow too!
