Wow that's impressive if it's true. That's a few orders of magnitude more than I'd have guessed. A 4x difference in heat capacity means that big of a change? Chemistry is weird... 😨

Some of my Chinese friends are comparing what the US is doing today to the Qing dynasty in China where the emperor basically went “we’re the best in the world so let’s shut our borders” 😢
