yknow these drawings kinda make the time period these characters are in really unclear
these kids look and act like theyre from the modern day (tiffany using a tablet, her and georgy making 67 jokes, the yotsuba pose) and yet their parents are a stereotypical 50s-era housewife/businessman couple lol

i asked for some CITY mangas for christmas without specifying how many i wanted and my mom got me 10 of em lol gawdamn
(it was an ebay bid and they didnt get here until like a day or two ago)

a similar technique was used for krystalhead, though only for her head. her body/limbs already use unusual shapes so it's a lot easier to draw without reference/tracing

bit of BTS stuff for this piece
it's pretty tough drawing characters with straight edges at different angles and perspectives, while also keeping their size and lengths of their lines consistent. so i had to cheat quite a bit with this. the art community will surely have me crucified for tracing
