I gotta say, I hear it all the time from WotC, but I don't remember meeting a single person between 2007 and 2009 that didn't enjoy the Lorwyn block. I am very lucky to have been in a bubble of gamers who also loved that era while it was happening. #MTGLorwyn

Through years of teaming and traveling together I’m not sure I ever saw Kai refuse a favor or fail to get along with someone. It probably sounds like I’m doing some mythologizing or something but he was that kind, that generous, that fun, that universally loved. I’ll miss him so much.

I fucking love that the things I loved growing up -- comics, manga, anime, sci-fi, gaming, b-movies etc etc -- have become part of the mainstream culture and people are embracing them.

I just want folks to love things passionately. I hate a blank tee-shirt or hat. Love something.

To me, Kai's passing is a reminder that none of us knows how long we have on this planet. Why not spend what time we have being kind to each other? Strive to make the lives of those around you better. RIP Kai.

Tinker or academy are big pay off if you hit enough artifacts. Which is sometimes really hard ! I'd pick tinker before academy if it's this early
