The Indiana Senate made a decisive move today and chose not to redistrict despite lots of pressure from both inside and outside the statehouse. 20 Republicans joined ranks with the minority—the final vote was 31-19.
It was definitely a day to remember.
People for and against Indiana’s mid-cycle redistricting bill came to the Senate chamber Monday afternoon torn between two perspectives—one national, one local.
