On the other hand i think how we sus out a bad card has changed framework, we as deckbuilders, pilots and players have adapted. Our standards for what is bad has also shifted a bit.

We still see bad cards, we just see less of them.

From my observations I believe R&D has moved past needing bad cards.

Thats not a bad thing tho.

Why build a main set that is around 200-300ish cards when 2/3rds of those wont be used because they arent "good enough?" I think WoTC is moving towards "You can play with what you pull." for new players

It is hard for me to overstate the silent beef i have had with freemagic the last nine years. They drove away some great folks from this space, old friends of mine.

I use to, not so much these days. Now if I fuck it up I take a breath and wait for when the time comes to fix it, studying how to until the day arrives.

Vorthos is about connection and creativity both in how you interface with the cards and text but also in your expression.
