Had covid in December. Ruined my Xmas and early summer. Partner still has lingering smell/taste issues although his post-viral cough has gone.

Not so much chaos that a single passenger told the ferry staff, nope. They will have to shortly, when we berth and the tagging process is observed.

Chaos at the ferry terminal - the minority of us still using AT Hop cards are tagging on but people with the new-fangled phones and credit cards cannot …

Oh, I think the biggest scam are recipes that assume you only need a few minutes to properly cook onions.

There are 3 bus routes and a ferry service. The 12 bus goes to Henderson via Westgate in one direction and to Constellation Dr in the other. Buses every 15 mins, 7 days a week.
It’s pretty good.

The only downside is the cost of the ferry which is now more than $100 a week. Bus has a $50 weekly cap.

We downsized car wise when we moved here and I rely on public transport for day to day getting around. But we still need our one car.

One of the bus routes can’t go its intended route because a developer hasn’t built a short stretch of road (and possibly never will). So a whole road doesn’t function bc a bit is missing in the middle.

Buses will be spaced out more when/if this road is finished.

The bus stops are closer together than the AT norm (by design). But I don’t know the details.

Lots of families with young kids; it’s a life stage when you need a car.

We have great public transport at Hobsonville Park.
But also: houses with insufficient storage so garages get used for that and not cars; lots of newer places with no parking at all so the narrow streets are clogged.
Ratepayers shouldn’t be funding car storage.
