This week, I heard from the Association of Rape Crisis Centres in Israel who shared with me the incredible work they are doing with the $1 M in support that Canada pledged last year.
We will continue to support survivors.
We continue to bear witness.
We believe women.
We will not be silent.
Last year, I met with organizations in Israel who are helping survivors of Oct 7 and addressing the weaponization of sexual violence on that horrific day. Their stories were harrowing. Their fearless commitment to justice and accountability, and compassion in the face of evil is inspiring.
