My podcast partner is putting on a Leeds United themed play as part of an exhibition honouring the life and art of Joshua Van Leader, a former Thorp Arch academy keeper, who died in 2022.

Saw #ThroughItAllTogether last night. We loved it! I'd urge all #lufc fans to see it. We are currently caring for my wife's mum who is living with dementia. Hope this clears it up a bit - promise I've had the best intentions with this piece. Also my family hail from Roscommon/Mayo btw so am there regularly!

I couldn't write about that period and not have him as a small part of it. It is though, in a small way, a thank you to him and he will be invited as he was a fan of the Leeds Playhouse and wrote to them about the important work they do for the 'soul of Leeds' and visited with his family.

Hey Mol, writer of the play here. Just to clarify - the play is about a couple, one of which has recently been diagnosed with dementia, following Leeds United during the period of time in which they got promoted. It is not about Bielsa - but the effect Leeds United and football can have on people.
