Sorry, I just needed to vent. I’m just so fucking over it all.

Also, you would think because the loss I suffered, she would be there for me. But I’m the bad one here.

It wasn’t a huge secret, and the people who needed to know, knew. But due to legal situations, we were keeping it close. She knew that.

Now I’m apparently I’m dead to her, and I’m the worst child ever. Don’t wanna point out the obvious… but…

Anyway, she got “better” and went right back to drinking a month after being released from the hospital. Six months later my MIL died. Now, you would think my Mom would be there for me. Nope. Instead she decided to get mad at me for being mad at her because she told people about my MIL dying.

When she was moved from the ICU, I still would go visit her. When she was finally cognisant, and was able to learn how to walk again (the alcoholism was that bad), she actually fought with my Father about having him walk with her. She wanted ME to walk with her.

While in the hospital she was in the ICU. I would bring my laptop with me to work, at the hospital, every other day, and just sit with her. My brother never visited. My sister visited once.

I remember driving to this park with a lake, because I wanted to look at something pretty, and just sitting there to prepare myself about how my Mom was gonna die due to alcoholism. MCR was blaring. I was crying. Then I drove to the hospital to visit her. She was discharged almost a month later.
