Taking a breather from marking & moving into a new cute studio to set a digital art space. Off to the NGV on Wednesday to see #frenchimpressionist show and then back to prepare for the Winterland show. I’ll post some pics of the new studio when I’ve unpacked & tidied up.

Just received this great book on George Schwartz & Charis. Explosively experimental through the 1970s Kings Cross Sex Films era & collage, painting & photography of the 1980s - 2021. Reviled and loved. Brilliant artists who pushed boundaries, collected by nearly all major galleries & universities.

This collection of work found new homes at @theotherartfair. Always happy & humbled when collectors acquire my creative output and hang them in their homes.

Indulged this lovely book for my BD present. Have always loved Jerrem’s work since I first saw Vale Street. Carol was such a talented and intuitive photographer who captured the 1970s perfectly. Her young death is tragic and unfair. Fearlessly, she captured this too.

Acquired this book ‘The Slow Reveal: The Nude in Australian Art’ by @paul.mcgillick on Friday evening. What a lovely book it is. Paul’s historical and analytical narrative is a joy to read and the plates a sumptuous. If you’re into art & the nude genre this is a great read!

The Cert 4 Museums & Galleries students at @tafecastlehill hung a collection of my work for their ‘Install an Exhibition’ assessment today. They took it like ducks to water. The Hangar is an amazing space. I think they did a great job.
