N.S. government MLAs say grant cuts necessary to protect 'core' services | CBC News Government MLAs are acknowledging that cuts in their latest budget are difficult for the people impacted but say it was a necessary step to preserve core services.

Oh, they forgot they have the option to raise taxes.
