It surprisingly fun! I was trying to fill it a little more densely than that, but it was more about doing something everyday, even if it was only for 15 mins. And I’m kicking myself because I had so much traction! Someday I’ll take pics and pull the better ones into digital art.

So I have this scroll that I was practicing drawing with like…4 years ago.

Platonic relationships written well are so soft. Sometimes I write Sylvain or Leonie and am like “do I secretly ship?” But I think no, I just like Felix broing out with people he can trust and are on the same wavelength.

He can love Dimitri and know that he has other people who hold him up.

I just realized.
I talk ships all the time around him.

I tell my husband how my writing is going.
I try to limit it to only before breakfast, but still.
My kid probably knows how diamondback ends.

And a relative who has never supported my ships is coming over in a week and OF COURSE now is when my son is asking for Dimitri and Felix by name.

Also my son is 3.

Unsure if this makes me a bad mom.
I will not talk ships around him, even if it kills me to withhold my happy giggles at “give me a hand, boar”.

I had him defending Dimitri (like a literal in-game command to run defense) so my son could be Dimitri and run into walls with no aim. Every time he asked where Felix was, I’d rotate the camera so he could see him lol

This is my life now, I guess.

The saga continues:

We played 3 Hopes today. My son got to walk around as Dimitri. He asked me how to whack people 🤦‍♂️
He also really wanted to know where Felix was. Of course I don’t go into battle without Felix lol

I fear all of my merch is now a child’s plaything.

Update;
My son found them on the window sill where I was trying to hide them. He said and I quote “I want Dimitri and Felix”.

He carried Dimitri around a while. Said he needed a new eye (It was because his eye is covered by his hair— don’t worry, he has not seen post timeskip. I have limits).

I have many feelings about how Felix would respond to Dimitri and Alois becoming friends.

Does he keep Alois around because he makes Dimitri laugh?
Does he use his unique set of skills to make Alois disappear because he can’t take another bad pun?

I NEED to see his face.
