Can confirm this works, the rep was kept insisting "there was adult content," I kept repeating "but the statement form mastercard says 'illegal,' adult content is not illegal," and I got him to agree that yes, he has seen no evidence any illegal transactions happened.

A Stripe rep hung up on me when they realized they told me they're disallowing "LGBTQ content" in transactions, so either they're slipping up more or just being more honest about their real intentions.

Back then as a kid I used to only fight with my starter, but this time I decided to actually lvl other pokemon as well. It's fun but takes forever 🥲

Btw I love the pixel art of the pokemon, got so used to the 3D stuff of the newer games.

Oh my god the PayPal call was SO FUNNY. The guy on the phone was like "We don't allow processing payments for explicit material."

So I hit him with "So if I were to go and purchase a copy of Game of Thrones online, my payment would be blocked?"

So it looks like I need to soon pay about 900€ of medical bills out of my own pocket. I'm trying to get it sorted and see if my health insurance will change their mind and approve it (I doubt it).

after a very frustrating call with Visa (US+CAN), I was told that Visa would like inquiries relating to using their bargaining power to destroy adult media to be sent, via email, to

they asked. to be sent. emails. you know what to do.

Here’s a short script:
“Hello, my name is _____, and I would like to file a complaint. I find it troubling that Mastercard is blocking content on (the platforms you use) and making it difficult for me to make legal purchases. I am going to stop using Mastercard if this isn’t rescinded and fixed."

This please. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just hearing "I like this" or "this is so cute" really is nice and makes my day! I don't know how or why people started thinking it was annoying or insincere to give compliments but it's not. Artists like knowing if people resonate with things we make.
