Actually, a permanent pedestrian crosswalk at this spot wouldn't be terrible.

When I was single, I would sometimes spend an entire weekend without speaking to anyone. Never really bothered me. But I do live in the city, so human proximity is as easy as taking a book to a pub a few blocks away.

The bill's probably been stuck in the same book as the Parliamentary Snuff Tobacco Box, and everyone thought it was too quaint to bother with.

Growing up in Russia, this was the normal way of making tea - a pot of really strong brew, that everyone then diluted to preference. So this is like an individual version of that.

When I was in college I used to routinely knock out essay in two-three hours, and I don't consider myself to be an especially productive writer. Who are these people?
