Delilah had worried about her sister more than anything because she was always so close to it all.

"I just want this all to stop"

She nods and stays silent. After all they had been through the past few months she wasn't sure. She was scared and unsure.

While she wanted to be reassured by her sister's words she was not. Not because Gale wasn't a fighter and couldn't take care of herself but because she knew there was no guarantee of that being possible.

She looks away and sniffles softly hoping her sister wouldn't pick up on her being nearly in tears.

"but what if next time you don't? I can't let that happen Gale. I can't lose my sister when I've just started having you in my life again"

She's reaching over for the phone and checking how charged it was before handing it over.

She sighs in defeat and looks up at her.

"Fine. But I'm not going anywhere and that's not changing. I'd rather be an extra layer of protection"

She pulls her hand away.

"I understand you need to find the truth and I support that however I think you should do it with a clear head."

She was stubborn. While she knew Gale had just been looking out for her she still felt the need to be sure.

It made her sad to see Gale like this.

"I know. Just try and get some sleep and just know I'm here okay?"

She felt bad there wasn't more she could do to ease the emotional load Gale was dealing with.

"I'm not going anywhere unless I have to"

she squeezes her hand gently and nods.

"I do know where they are and I will do my best. I'm not going back because if I'm not here I'm gonna be at my place. I'm not leaving you alone until we get to the bottom of this."

She shakes her head and then speaks after a few beats of silence.

"Too close of a call. I was so scared that you weren't gonna make it and I hate that it came that close to it "

The younger brunette spoke softly. Sh sighs loudly and then reaches for Gale's hand.

"I'm so sorry."

Once she had been notified she dropped what she was doing to be by her sister's side. She had been there for a while silently just glad Gale was even okay.
