The Real Mr. Gruberโ€™s Antique Shop: A Paddington Bear Treasure in Nottingย Hill If youโ€™ve ever watched Paddington (2014) or its equally delightful sequel, Paddington 2 (2017), youโ€™ll remember Mr. Gruberโ€™s Antique Shopโ€”the charming, wood-panelled haven of trinkets, teapots, and treasures, where the worldโ€™s politest bear finds both warmth and wisdom. But while Mr. Gruber himself is a fictional character from Michael Bondโ€™s beloved books, his shop has a very real-life counterpart: Aliceโ€™s Antiques…

At least you're as comfortable as you can be for now (and still getting paid!). Are there any living facilities on the rig at all? Am wondering if it is still manned in very bad weather, or was it a full evacuation? Sorry if it's a stupid question!

The front cover of the โ€˜Classicโ€™ supplement from the October 29 1995 edition of the Sunday Express newspaper, with a colour photograph showing George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Paul McCertney standing together in daylight beneath a large tree, with the headline โ€˜Goodbye Hello โ€“ The Reunion We Thought Weโ€™d Never Seeโ€™. To Harrisonโ€™s left, emerging from behind the tree, is a white peacock walking along the ground.

The index page for the October 29 1995 edition of the Sunday Express โ€˜Classicโ€™ Sunday supplement. On the left-hand side is a column listing all of the issueโ€™s features and page numbers, most of items being Beatles-related. The main picture taking up around a third of the page is an adapted version of the Abbey Road album cover, showing the Beatles as they may have looked had the shot been posed in 1995 with Lennon still alive. Below this is a short article headlined โ€˜Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!โ€™ written by the bandโ€™s former publicist Derek Taylor.

30 years ago, the Sunday Express paper which my mum read every week ran a #Beatles special of its โ€˜Classicโ€™ supplement, with basically the entire thing given over to Beatles-related articles to tie-in with the launch of the Anthology... (1/8)

ikr? How is that possible, and why can't we just tap into it? Maybe overall it's better to think about getting a restful amount of sleep over the course of a week rather than worrying about a night or two where it's a struggle.

On the whole I think pop songs should be about :
Being lonely.
Not wanting to be lonely.
Loss in general .
Being horny.
How rubbish weekdays are.
How great Friday and Saturday are.
Obscure films, books, historical events etc.
Being a fire starter.

I've always wondered why Chocolate Cake wasn't included on Recurring Dream. Is it because the lyrics are a bit controversial? Have the band ever commented on it?
