so i did end up crying alone in the dark for 5 minutes but was okay after that

the “vibes” have been off since my ‘oldest’ coworker left at the beginning of this year, and with another one leaving, they’re gonna become even worse. depressing. how does everyone else get out except me?

i’m more upset that he is moving onto bigger and better things and i am not. i am swamped and too old for this. i feel like crying but i’d rather write this

my (work) crush is leaving as i suspected (it’s been about a year) and i can’t help but feel a little upset

it’ll start to get warmer soon! next week there’s a few days near 50, near 60°F!

i watch this dude’s videos on japanese culture sometimes, and in one of the videos, there’s a part about a woman and he keeps shouting her name TAIKAIKOOOOO and it makes me laugh so much

makes me feel like an idiot every single time. i was going to type “Received” but that just seemed so cold, esp. after the mgr. said “morning”. idk. it just seemed more courteous to respond the way i did instead of “received”.

it later occurred to me that no one else felt happy to take a personal day based on an upper mgmt decision. i’m assuming it’s PTO though. but it’s just feels like every time i do something, people observe what i do and make the collective decision of “yeah, we’re just *not* gonna do that”

yesterday’s edition of “yeah nah fck these people”:

the whole place was filled with relics from the past… interesting except for the thing w/ children going on. later on we tried the mini soft tacos at their to-go restaurant. the last thing i remember is passing colorful parade floats being blown up, but IDK what for.

i think we came back the next morning. it was closed but the female security guard let us in so i could look before the crowds. i ended up finding my hat and jacket in 2 different places. it looked like they were preparing them to be sold.

shortly after, my cousins wanted to leave, only i couldn’t find where i put my jacket and hat. it was hung randomly on a rack with other clothes in a convoluted floorplan of rooms. i had to leave without either. i ended up coming back with my aunt and dad.

there was some weird event showing a scene from a new movie starring shia leboeuf on a small screen, then a supposed Q&A with the cast. at the end, most of the cast came out of a room behind the screen, but no SL. an announcer said this was the last movie or event before SL takes his own life (?)

the issue was that both places sold inappropriate clothing for children. i remember a young girl wearing a skirt with a slit up the side and the mom being totally OK with it. i was wondering if there grooming and CSA going on somewhere.

i had a prolonged dream where i went shopping with my older cousins. the first place we went to had, like, disney, sanrio, nintendo etc. merch for adults only, but nothing of quality. the second place had all sorts of donated upscale clothing and (not donated) lingerie and things.

who knows maybe she’s like 26 b/c everyone looks older than i think they are like some of the skaters

anyway yeah i thought we were opposed to screen time for young children

- the cashier had an attitude and made me feel like i was inconveniencing (sp?) her :( i am going to chalk it up to her feeling stressed out b/c it was crowded b/c of the snowstorm coming. maybe my family was too slow idk

things that annoyed me at the supermarket today:

- a mother (around my age) with her baby in the cart watching something on the phone. couldn’t have been more than a year old. why does the baby need the phone when there’s so much real life stimulation going on?

i just don’t like the combo of the hair/whatever the teeth things are lol

glad things turned around!

my 2 least favorite commercials right now are the instacart and progressive ones
