Oh gosh! You don’t have to do that. Just thinking through why we are where we are, as heartbreaking as it is.

While I agree with where you are going with this, I also think you could look at the poverty level in Oklahoma and guess that maybe those people feel like the system is failing them. They may want someone who promises them drastic change, even the results of those changes will likely hurt the poor.
