Kena was my first soulslike game, so I'm happy to jump into a sequel, enjoyed platting the first game. And now that GoW is getting a trilogy remake, I don't have an excuse anymore to not play them, so will be doing that

I do wonder if Square will bother native porting KH to Switch 2. They're super fast porting Rebirth to it, so I wonder if they don't think it's worth the investment to native port KH if it's on the Cloud already

This has been a solid gaming year for me tbh. Xeno X & FF Tactics Remasters (finally), Expedition 33 was fantastic, Lies of P DLC final boss was very good, and Octopath 0 is good so far. 2026 is looking like year of the backlog though, we'll see

I agreed with a couple of the policies the new CEO implemented, such as multi-platform releases going forward & pulling the plug on likely bad projects. But laying off a ton of overseas positions on top of annoucing QA AI being 70% by 2027 is concerning. Hope it doesn't backfire

Now that I got to fully listen to Expedition 33's OST after beating the game, it definitely is a top tier soundtrack. Easily joins the ranks of FF7 Remake/Rebirth, Xenoblade 3, and Octopath 2 for my favorite OSTs over the last 5 years

After one session with Expedition 33, already can get why it may be GOTY. Satisfying combat w/parries, great battle music/soundwork, and aesthetically pleasing/clever areas. Only downside to me so far is one save slot is dumb, but been having a blast on Expert mode so far

Needless to say I'm excited to replay FF Tactics after last playing it like 20 years ago. Very Impressed that you have Classic mode to get the original experience too, awesome game preservation. Been waiting for this one to get ported for a long time

While this was clearly posted due to ML being cancelled, it definitely is nice to get at least some update for KH4. Also, something about one of the screenshots being just a telephone is pretty funny to me. I need to know more.

It does suck that this may greatly complicate the storytelling of KH4, since ML was probably going to be required viewing to fully understand KH4 story, so they're going to probably have to do something to still tell that story, which I'm sure they will do regardless

Guess all the times I said on stream that KH:ML would likely be DOA anyway wasn't unfounded. I'm honestly very okay with it being canned, I don't prefer to play KH mobile games. After Dark Road, there really shouldn't have been another attempt at this imo

It's pretty crazy how consistent Monolith Soft has been at releasing peak. All the Xenoblades to me are just crazy fun. Getting to re-experience how awesome Xeno X's exploration is has been a blast

Yozora from KH3 DLC, it's peak superboss design. Incredibly fun fight that forces you to learn it, and manages to be very challenging while also not insulting the player by having moves that randomly can hit you

I'm sure there it wouldn't be hard to look up a quick story review up until right after KH3 on YT

Tbh, having this much downtime for Kingdom Hearts has been fine with me, since it's allowed me to explore other games & series I may not have if KH kept releasing games yearly. I'm in no rush, personally

It sure is weird to see that not only am I in the 0.5%, but many others I follow appear to be too. Almost as if that "0.5%" statistic is inflated in a deceitful way to downplay how many people actually are affected and make it seem like it's not a big deal (5/6)

I've been streaming since 2012, and it's been sad to see Twitch grow the way it has and now keep downward spiraling because they can't figure out how to stop blowing money, so their first action appears to always punish the streamers & viewers (4/6)

It's understandable to cut down on storage costs by putting in limitations, but immediately blocking people like me that only highlight 3h a week from doing highlights without warning is evil. There could be so many graceful ways to do this without hard fucking people over (3/6)

Guessing that it's a lot of "streamed once" that inflate the statistic. For reference of how easy this is to hit, I only really highlight my 1st playthroughs of games and it's like 3-4h a week. If you stream somewhat normally and highlight somewhat often, expect to hit this (2/6)

This is how much I have on my channel, it's insane that I have to export this much to a YT channel to avoid losing history like this. Twitch says 0.5% of streamers affected, but they don't tell you how they got that metric. (1/6)

From the SoP yesterday, Lies of P DLC looks sick, definitely getting that, and also have my eyes on Tides of Annihilation. I feel like I'm the target audience for that type of game, so hoping for a demo of it

FF7 Rebirth PC port has been impressive so far to me. Ran it at max settings 1440p/60fps on my 4080 Super while streaming at 1080p/60fps and it ran pretty smooth and looked solid, much better than on base PS5. Thanks again to @squareenixfr.bsky.social for the copy
