UK New Vintage: We're nostalgic for the 40s the way Americans are nuts for the 50s. Also for some reason we think 50s western/aloha-wear is neat. No fatties tho.

I say this because HoF is beyond my usual budget... also tariffs are a bastard and OF COURSE the US new vintage companies don't put out this kind of stuff.

Since my MiL gave us cash and there was a discount big enough to cover the tariffs (and free shipping) I made an order from House of Foxy and OH NO THE CLOTHES FIT AND I FEEL GOOD IN THEM.

People don't seem interested in pouches, which is fine, I also make them because I enjoy them and they make nice gifts....

You can see vultures don't have bulky feet and talons built for grasping/carrying like other raptors. Their more chicken-like feet are meant for bracing on food to pull at it with their powerful beaks, instead.

OU placed a graduate student instructor on leave after a student publicly contested a grade and filed an illegal discrimination claim after she received a failing grade on an essay that cited the Bible. According to a statement released Sunday, the university wrote it is taking these concerns seriously and has begun a full review of the situation. “The University of Oklahoma takes seriously concerns involving First Amendment rights, certainly including religious freedoms. Upon receiving notice from the student on the grading of an assignment, the University immediately began a full review of the situation and has acted swiftly to address the matter,” the statement read.

Oklahoma University has placed a grad student instructor on admin leave for failing a psychology paper on gender for citing *the Bible* as a source of empirical evidence.

In response, OU has placed on instructor on admin leave citing, get this, the FIRST AMENDMENT.

I appreciate you speaking about underemployment. It's such a pernicious tactic employers use and those same employers are the ones more likely to have irregular work schedules, leading to fraught employment (except working on the weekend. A weekend has almost become an economic indicator).
