I never once said results mattered. I’m not in any way worried Moyes can’t improve things but if performances and personnel don’t improve quickly, Moyes will be going into the season on the back foot.

But it’s not about results is it? Simple fact is, Moyes agrees that the team isn’t good enough and non of pre season has been. Yes we’ll sign more players and no it’s not the end of the world but let’s not pretend that it wasn’t shambolic.
