Come to think of it, who even popularized the term "consuming media"? It's a lame-ass term that feels way too robotic for the different forms "media" can take.

It's a strange decision, especially since the Virtual Boy wasn't very popular even when it was brand new, was it? I remember watching a video about how a lot of folks complained about eye strain and how the thing wasn't comfortable to use. It still doesn't look comfy *now*.

More images of the roof board. For the record it's been like this for 3+ years after they said they'd replace it for a proper fix. They never did.

At this point, the furniture that's beneath the board (there's no other place for it, this place is tiny) is water-damaged, and so is the rug. We have to literally keep a pot and a bowl nearby just to catch what water we can, and again, the landlords refuse to do anything about it.

Any time they visit for inspections they claim they'll fix it, and they never have. So we need to get out. I'll include pictures for proof, as well as a donation link if anyone can help without putting themselves in a rough situation. Spreading this would also help!

I've been here for 4 years or so. There's a massive hole in the ceiling that was covered by a wooden board, but the board is falling more each day and rain leaks from it when it storms. Our previous neighbors punched a hole in our wall, and the landlords ignore any of our emails and calls (more v)

We need to rent a U-Haul because the current car isn't going to survive a cross-state drive. Outside of that, any help would go towards furniture and food, and generally costs towards getting settled (changing addresses and smaller things like that). There's a bit more info, but any help is welcome

Hey y'all, I don't really like asking for help but it's needed at the moment. The super tl;dr is that the lease for this apartment is expiring in November and we can't renew it. So we're aiming to move some time between November and December, but we need financial help to cover costs (more below)
