It did stop raining a couple of times!

The sun did come out a couple of times and I actually got to take my waterproofs off for the last mile or so!

Think I was on my way to Grindslow Knoll at the time that picture was taken.

It must have been absolutely gutting when you'd spent all that time and effort clearing away other people's rubbish only a few days earlier.

Some people are just knobs! I really don't get why they do this when it doesn't take any more effort to drive to the local council tip and dispose of it there

My home town!

Did a shorter route from Hope. Not quite as brutal a climb as Parkin Clough!

Yes, there was some sunshine in between the sleet showers!

Win Hill. In the distance low cloud clips the top of Kinder Scout.
