This is a major PR coup for Anthropic. In rejecting the DoD's demands that it allow the surveilling of Americans and autonomous killing, it gets immediate claim to the moral high ground, which other AI co's won't take. Anthropic is the AI company that *won't* kill and surveil you.

Israeli group B’Tselem notes that, since a supposed “ceasefire” in Gaza, Israel has:
* killed 345 Palestinians,
* denied food to 70% of the population who need it,
* demolished a further 1,500 buildings.
All of this is in blatant violation of the agreement.
As if the isolation of Palestinian communities in small areas in the West Bank was not enough, the Israeli army checkpoints make all normal life impossible - just imagine that a simple small trip takes hours. And this only applies to Palestinians, Israelis are free to move anywhere without stopping.
