There was a period when I was in school where I'd do a weekly cross country run while eating a croissant and somehow feel mostly fine: now running makes my lungs burn, I don't know how that bastard did it

There're moments in running where I feel like I hit the zone, but then I hit the soul sucking gasping part and I feel like death 😭
