The Liberals’ new bill is an attack on civil liberties, refugee rights, and democratic process. The Greens are calling on MPs from all parties to split the bill, protect rights, and do the work properly.

When over 2 million people face famine and civilians attempting to deliver aid are illegally detained in international waters, the world cannot continue to remain silent. Canada has a duty to act decisively and uphold international law, not look the other way. We must act now.

During Indigenous History Month we honour the legacy and resilience of First Nations across Canada.

We must also call out Canada’s colonial past and present, including the current actions of the Ford government.
