Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

The fic has 75177 words across 9 chapters. The ship is Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov. AO3 summary: Yuuri and Victor's souls bond when they meet during the Grand Prix Final. Victor figures out that his soul has bonded when Yuuri's self-inflicted injuries appear on his skin a couple weeks later, but Yuuri doesn't realize until the other man writes to him with their skin as a shared canvas. Yuuri has lost his motivation, but the people around him, including this mystery man halfway across the world, encourage him to continue chasing his dreams. Victor stares down the lonely path of his career and wonders if it's worth it to keep going, but he's gaining a new perspective from the stranger who has become his soulmate. Both of them need to decide how to approach the upcoming season and rekindle their passion for skating while learning how to love themselves and each other.

When do the horrors end? When are Democrat politicians going to grow a spine? When are Republican politicians going to learn empathy? It doesn't matter how many people suffer or die, they'll keep playing their games to get votes and make money and shut their curtains when we protest.

Yeah, Republicans are worse. But I'm not gonna thank the guys who are *just* rubbing salt in the wound.

If Dems capitulate to Republicans then trans people will die. It's that simple.

The fact that we're even at this point has me so livid and disillusioned with the population as a whole.

These cowards would trade our lives for a few more votes. Democrat politicians will do anything except stand firm on their values. "Vote blue no matter who" ends up being fucking useless when they waffle and wring their hands and cater to centrists as much as possible.
