I don't *think* so. Furber kept the "BigDickAnon" LARP going for a long time on 4chan, and Joe M was a pretty big promoter on other sites. They also had pretty different writing styles. But the identity of Joe M is definitely one of those plot threads that might never be solved.

A president attacking another country based on a "feeling" is unacceptable. It's like Alex Jones saying God called on him to expose the deep state while he was eating a chicken fried steak. Except people are dying because of it.

Paxton shouldn't drop out because there's a good chance that a week from now, Trump forgets he endorsed Cornyn and endorses Paxton, demanding Cornyn drop out. He's done it once already, with MTG's seat. So there's no reason he won't do it again.

Yeah, it's troubling. People make mistakes when they're young, but if you keep making the same mistake, it starts to look like it's either not a mistake, or that you have really bad judgement.

I'm thinking about Fred Brennan as much as I am Platner. Some people could forgive him and move on, others couldn't. I think forgiveness is a good thing, but it also has to be earned. It's entirely up to the individual whether that's happened or not.

Without commenting on a race in a state I don't live in, I think much of liberal discourse on social media is a debate about whether or not a person can be forgiven for doing something hurtful, and if they can be seen as who they are now, not who they used to be.

This is a Bond villain plot.

The bottom line is that American soldiers are dying in a conflict that our leadership literally can't justify, because the commander in chief can't remember what the justification is.

Voters will remember this.

Trump talks constantly, but says nothing of value. He repeats what the last person told him, but struggles to keep even that in his head. So he becomes the spokesman for his administration's dysfunction. And nobody knows what's happening, why it's happening, or what happens next. Pure chaos.

He's had multiple chances to make his case to the American people, but can't get the job done without wandering off to ramble about drapes. His ministers can do it, but they all have different reasons for pushing the attack. So the public doesn't get a consistent answer, and shows little support.

Trump's declining cognitive function has to be playing at least some role in the administration's inability to articulate a coherent justification for attacking Iran. With Trump unable to do it, the job is up to whichever official has a mic in their face at any moment - and none of them can agree.

Lil' Marco's presidential ambition is getting washed away like tears in rain.

It's weird to watch 2003-era neocon "looming mushroom cloud" talking points mash up with 2026-era talking points of "Trump is a god king and I would lick his toes if he told me to." Regardless, nobody debases themselves like Lindsey Graham.

Donald Trump has been president for five years, and his supporters still think we're just weeks away from him revealing the truth about Hillary wearing a kid's face in a video.

Nobody multitasks like Trump. Taking large-scale unilateral military action with no objective or exit strategy AND forgetting where his father was born? Only Donald Trump can do that. Cry about it, libs.

The official White House stance on Iran appears to be "we're doing regime change and also not doing regime change so we don't have to do regime change, while destroying their nuclear program which we already destroyed, so they can never use a nuke, which they were about to do, and also could not."

People who have checked out of politics will turn to social media for news about Iran. And they'll see the president slurring through incoherent "jokes" about giving himself medals and how great the curtains in his ballroom will be, while Americans are being killed. A nightmare for the GOP.
