I think 2D is valuable to have on second thought. But Procreate requires so many different opacities to make the drawing feel normal to where I just can't do it atm.

Finally finished a render,

I ended up finding something in my model that got me a decent bit of motivation to draw again. Just on paper.

Fuck the ever changing tide of opacity & eraser opacity on the iPad for my beginner ass.

I put 2D drawings as a priority for so long when in reality I've never enjoyed it as much as making 3D Art and 2d should've been a secondary art focus from the beginning.

Tomorrow I'm going to put that into motion. Starting with using Apple's rigs instead of game rig made for the video game.

Honestly I really want to start embracing my ability to write. The art is nice but its not enough to distract me from my struggles with taking a break from Splatoon. I have trouble relaxing because I need to replace it with something else, and this is about the best I can do.

I'm gonna write about Nintendo instead of Splatoon.

Same thing, I've had to deal with the Switch for awhile now why not give it a unique perspective, and its about all I feel confident in writing about besides Splatoon atm.

The alternative is my story idea but I'm not ready for that yet.

Its been about a month of barely playing the game and I've never really taken more then a week off before (never wanted to.)
Honestly been really enjoying doing other things and the extra time between this and the content break, nothing wrong with the game of course, just nice to do something else.

I've been struggling with this massively myself after having this happen to me for years. Just know you're not alone.

I've kind of been using ZA as a way to get myself to take at least a short break from splatoon but I'm getting so restless already. I feel like splatoon has completely overhauled my tastes in games in general and I just don't have the patience for so much story and running around anymore.
