Rough sketches of a variety of mercreatures, with a small human diver for scale. The largest is a shark, and next to it is a long gulper eel, whose tail makes it as long as the shark, though its "human" body is much smaller. The eel's entire "chest" is split open into a mouth. There is also a wispy jellyfish, a lionfish, two tropical fish (one that is bright yellow and one that is a pink betta-style mermaid), and a very large crab whose human torso sticks out of the crab back like a centaur.

Three mercreature designs. The largest is a shark, whose entire body is gray, and has a flat, inhuman face with solid black eyes, slits for nostrils, and a wide mouth. About half its size is a pale pink crab with the human torso coming out of its back like a centaur. The smallest is a more traditional mermaid, with a bright yellow tail, dark skin, and long black hair.

Concept art of a crab merman, including headshots and limb diagrams. The human torso protrudes from the back in a similar style to a centaur, and he has an extra set of arms coming out of his sides. His arms, hands, neck, and hip joint are segmented like his crab legs, and his pale pink color gets darker towards the segmented joints. There are spines coming out of the back of the crab portion of his torso. He has solid black eyes, and the mouth looks human when closed, but one of the detail shots shows it opening up with segmented crab mouthparts.

I always like show/blur/hide mature content settings but hot take, you should be prompted to choose those preferences when you set up an account, instead of having to jump through hoops to change them

In the upper left are two headshots in profile, one which looks fairly human, with his mouth closed and the only indication being a wide seam between his lips, the next in which his jaw is unhinged, baring snake fangs and a forked tongue. In the center the human character sits at the edge of a pond, nude, looking coyly over his shoulder. Two other sketches show their size difference. One is two simple hips-up portraits, the other is a sketch of the two of them standing, with the human pressing his hands to the snake's scales while he rears above him.
