If your political strategy is to alienate your entire voter base and pave the way for a hard-right government, sure

Finally getting round to watching #aewdynamite such a great distraction from the shit in the world. Just settling in for the main event!

I may have my frustrations and disappointments about Starmer as a domestic politician, but internationally, I think he’s serious, responsible and trying to do his best for U.K. in unbelievably complex int’l environment, despite treasonous ghouls like Farage doing their best to undermine him.

Have to say its great hearing Trump moaning about how uncooperative the UK is... if we pissing off Trump we must be doing something right.

Maybe it’s a bad idea to put people in charge of government who are eager for the rapture.

Do people post videos on Bluesky?

I was on Cross Question last night arguing that it would be foolish to follow the War Criminal and Episodic Man into Iran. Kind of like following an arsonist into a burning building. Strongmen motivated entirely by their own self interest can not be trusted.

Starmer criticises Trump over Iran strikes, as he defends UK position The PM told MPs that Trump had expressed his disagreement with the decision not to get involved in the initial strikes.

How can he be so good at this stuff & so bad at so much else?

The Iranian regime is a horrorshow whose demise no sane person should regret.

But a senile rapist despised by much of the UK launching a massive air attack on Iran with no plans for what happens next while the UK government is weak, timid and unpopular and the PM is hopeless feels very not good.

This is an interesting quote. I certainly won't be voting for this iteration of the party again!

Honestly the collective national level of disdain for Brits living in Dubai on all my social media platforms today really is bringing the UK together as one in a way that's hard to achieve in the modern era.

Starmer's ability to find the exact sweetspot which pisses off everyone is extraordinary. He's a savant.

Just naked racism from Farage and the Mail.

Only British and commonwealth citizens are allowed to vote. It's not 'stealing' to legally take part in your own country's elections

If ever you needed a front page to capture the crass yet also dangerous silliness of so much of our media, and the impact of right wing nationalism which has done so much harm through a history from which some seem so unable to learn

CNN reporting that the strikes on Iran tonight are joint US and Israeli strikes.

Which means Donald Trump should be impeached for a third time.

What he has done tonight is illegal under the US constitution and the UN charter.

Shabana Mahmood vows to stick with hardline migration policies after byelection defeat Home secretary will defy β€˜plain wrong’ calls from unions and leftwing MPs that she is alienating Muslim voters

Even if we live aside for a second the immorality and practical problems of Mahmood's policies ...

Electorally, they will alienate more progressive voter and won't win over Reform voters.

Immoral and stupid. Labour will, and deserves to, die under these people

Having romped into third place in Gorton and Denton, Labour is celebrating its success with a word salad | Marina Hyde Got battered at the polls? No problem. Just act like voters want more of what you’re selling – not considerably less, says Guardian columnist Marina Hyde

Radiohead is demanding that the Trump administration take down a pro-ICE promotional video featuring a version of its song β€œLet Down” without permission.

Full statement from the band:

I thought Starmer's statement this morning was a disaster. Pretending that the Greens are as bad as Reform, jUsT oN tHe LeFt, is an idiotic strategy for attracting back voters that clearly like what GPEW has to say.

27.02.2026 19:07 β€” πŸ‘ 496    πŸ” 70    πŸ’¬ 41    πŸ“Œ 4

Starmer’s language in this letter to Labour MPs is absolutely *unhinged*. A grotesque parroting of Farage and Goodwin harping on about the Greens’ alleged β€˜sectarianism’ when they’ve run a positive campaign that united the electorate in rejecting Reform.

Get him gone.

Labour MP Ian Byrne: "The lines from the PM and Cabinet today essentially labelling the Green Party as extremist is appalling, desperate and frankly embarrassing.

"It also makes very clear that the leadership has zero understanding of where it has been going wrong."

Starmer's letter to Labour MPs should be cause enough for them to oust him.

Rancid politics of the gutter (counteproductive and delusional too)
