Conjuring new tunes for Album number 4 last wekeend at @highpeakrecordings.bsky.social

Two wonderful alt-folk and trad folk releases that I’ve mastered here recently. First up is ‘The Frog, The Mouse, The Ship, The Cabin Boy’ by @bitybooker.bsky.social which is something else. And second is the superb compilation ‘Sing Yonder 2’ curated by @karlsinfield.bsky.social. Big recommends.

I seem to have become a top-down mixer and I’ve no idea how or when it happened. Seems to be working though (I hope).

Tonight I was in a pub with a bunch of artists (of a variety of disciplines) and just felt so uncool and mostly out of my depth. I’m not alone, right? Always the bridesmaid syndrome. Z
