I loved the introduction of new characters and the character growth in this book. I did find the pacing really slow (sorry!!). But I loved the plot and all the twists and turns, just wish we got there faster.

Loved the world, the plot, and characters. But as an adult the YA didn’t hit the same 💔 (I also remembered allll the plot twists haha). I still feel like this paved the way for a lot of romantasy today- and I see the copy cats 🫣

This is such a great fast read! The FMC is not typical which was at times frustrating but also refreshing. Perfect mix of slow burn, yearning, with world building and a really unique plot.
